Daughter

Preface: The images that I once proudly showcased here are removed. Consider this a “thank you” to the people who inappropriately commented on my daughter’s pictures to my daughter. Next time, maybe give a moment of thought to the possibility that no, actually, she may not appreciate it and, in fact, might even be made uncomfortable or embarrassed by it considering that you are approaching her at work. While you’re at it, spend a moment contemplating the reality that your presence on this sight is very likely more a testament to your own inappropriate behavior and choices than hers. Go and Google-stalk her somewhere else, please… and while you’re at it, thank me for not telling you what I really think of your behavior.

She’s smart… she’s beautiful (Actually, she’s smarter than she is beautiful, so…).

She’s also considerate, compassionate, kind, warm, generous, and thoughtful.

She’s also cunning, savvy, and confident.

She’s also as demanding of others as she is of herself (more of herself, which should be telling).

And, like her mom, she brooks no excuses; as so eloquently set forth by Lucas via Master Yoda, “Do or do not; there is no try.”

The above said, this is my daughter; a woman in whom I am much pleased, of who I am so very, very proud, and for whom I would cheerfully, remorselessly, and viciously kill.

Just sayin’… fair warning, caveat tempter**, and such.

(** – Not to be confused with “caveat emptor”, which means “(let the) buyer beware”, but instead “(let the) tempter beware”… don’t tempt me.)
